The Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC) are among the most hardworking servants of the Chapel.
The ministry’s main function is to assist the priest in the distribution of the Holy Communion – either within Mass or outside of mass, when requested to administer it to a sick person.
In every celebration of the Eucharist, there should be a sufficient number of ministers of Holy Communion so that it may be distributed in a reverent and orderly manner.
