The Greeters and Collectors Ministry (GCM) is one of the most approachable service groups in the Chapel. The servants of this ministry are at the forefront, welcoming the laity as they attend the Chapel’s Eucharistic celebration.
The GCM members perform a variety of tasks. They provide special attention to the laity, especially the senior citizens, by guiding them to their respective seats. They also explain in a prudent manner how Mass-goers should observe the proper dress code and maintain the solemnity of the holy Eucharist by turning-off their mobile devices.
During the Holy Communion, the GCM members also assist the Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion in ensuring that the laity lines up in order and consumes the sacred host as soon as the person receives it.
Lastly, the GCM members lead us in the collection of our love offerings to the Lord.
